Staff caught storing charcoal, bunch of plantain in ambulance

A viral video via social media catches an ambulance straying from its planned reason by shipping things inconsequential to health related crises.

Among the things in the video are charcoal, cleansers, plantains, and different others.

Behind the scenes, voices can be heard exhorting the driver against the strange utilization of the emergency vehicle. This isn't the first an emergency vehicle has been seen going amiss from its motivation, in 2021 an emergency vehicle was caught to conveying packs of concrete. In such manner, the National Ambulance Service declared that it will lodge an official complaint with the police to investigate.

Addressing the media, Public Relations Officer of the service, Simon Yusif Kawula expressed that the emergency vehicle being referred to experienced a gearbox issue, driving it to be taken to a specialist for fixes in Manprobi, Accra. He checked that this specific rescue vehicle is one of the 307 units obtained in 2019 as a feature of the One-constituency-One-Ambulance drive and consequently dispersed the country over.
