Reggae Gold Awards set to be launched in July – Mr. Logic

A new award scheme in Ghana is set to be sent off pointed toward renewing the reggae and dancehall kinds.

Mr. Logic, the coordinator of the plan named Reggae Gold Awards, shared that it will zero in on specialized merit as opposed to prevalence. This drive originates from a longing to celebrate legitimate reggae and dancehall music.

In a meeting with Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's Showbiz A-Z, Mr. Logic, who was associated with arranging the past Bass Awards, communicated his inspiration for making the Reggae Gold Awards.

He referenced noticing the decay of the Bass Awards and chose to step in when it appeared to be the task was being deserted by its unique coordinators. "I was simply observing the coordinators of Bass Awards until one of them [Stip] made a post. I have consistently had this thought.

Truly, I was essential for the underpinning of Bass Awards," he made sense of. The Reggae Gold Awards' board will comprise of people with specialized skill in reggae and dancehall music, guaranteeing a fair and proficient assessment process.

Following its send off in July, the principal grants function is planned for November 2024, promising to be a critical occasion for the Ghanaian music scene.
