Points shared in see-saw West Ham-Liverpool game

West Ham United's heroes were Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio in their thrilling 2-2 draw with Liverpool at London Stadium.

Just before halftime, Bowen, making his 200th appearance for the Hammers since returning from an injury, scored the opening goal. He headed in Mohammed Kudus' cross following a fast corner kick. Andy Robertson scored an equalizer for Liverpool in the second half with a quick response.

The game took one more curve when Cody Gakpo's shot diverted off a few players prior to going in to give Liverpool the lead. Nonetheless, West Ham retaliated, and Antonio headed in a cross from Bowen to even out the score at 2-2 with 13 minutes remaining.

The attract saved West Ham the chase after a best four completion, while Liverpool botched a chance to reinforce their situation at the highest point of the table.
