Parents protest against WAEC over withheld WASSCE results

More than 600 guardians assembled at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) office in Sunyani, Bono district, requesting the arrival of their kids' test results.

WAEC had kept the aftereffects of candidates from last year's WASSCE because of suspected examination malpractices. At a gathering between WAEC authorities and the guardians, the assessment body expressed that the main arrangement was for the impacted understudies to retake the tests.

This choice maddened the guardians, who had put altogether in their kids' schooling. The guardians contended that their kids were not to blame and wouldn't permit them to retake any papers. Representative Mr. Agyemang Prempeh underscored that the understudies ought not be rebuffed for the carelessness of WAEC invigilators who neglected to appropriately oversee the tests.

The wronged guardians encouraged the public authority to intercede, calling attention that the impacted understudies' friends had proactively advanced to tertiary instruction.

Endeavors by Adom News to get a reaction from WAEC authorities in the district were fruitless.
