Napoli set to replace Osimhen with Mexico’s Santiago Giménez

Napoli is preparing for tremendous changes during the impending summer transfer window.

Club owner and famous movie producer De Laurentiis is now watching out for another head coach and sporting director, given the team’s disappointing performance this season.

Furthermore, the squad is supposed to go through some reshuffling, with the two appearances and takeoffs not too far off. One of the most expected takeoffs is that of Victor Osimhen, whose release clause of €130 million ($141m) has made his transfer more doable contrasted with past seasons.

Italian fans have grappled with the probability of his takeoff. As indicated by reports from 'La Gazzetta dello Game', Napoli has recognized Santiago Giménez as a possible trade for their departing headliner.

How much is Santiago Giménez worth?

With 44 goals in 73 appearances for Feyenoord and at 22 years old, Santiago Giménez arises as an ideal target for Napoli in the Serie A.

The club has a rich history of obtaining top-level focus advances, including Cavani, Higuaín, Mertens, and Osimhen, throughout recent years. In spite of his ongoing valuation of roughly €50 million ($54m), De Laurentiis is undaunted, having recently made a comparable interest in Osimhen in 2020.

While some at first reprimanded the powerful sticker price for Osimhen, time has demonstrated the club president's choice to be legitimate.
