Man who allegedly shot a soldier at Kasoa is Gyasehene of Millennium City

The Gyasehene of Millennium City in Kasoa, Nana Benlord Ababio, has been fingered in the homicide of an official of the Ghana Armed Forces on Tuesday, April 2024, at around 4:20 pm over a land dispute.

The Ghana Police Service has captured Benlord Ababio for the homicide of Lance Corporal Danso Michael.

Preliminary investigation by the police and the Ghana Military has laid out Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Omar Abdul Rahman possessed a half plot of land that was in debate in Millennium City for which the Millennium City Police, informed all gatherings to remain off the land until the issue was settled. Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Omar Abdul Rahman, joined by two of his associates, Lance Corporal Danso Michael (Perished) and Lance Corporal Ametus Matthew went to the real estate parcel subsequent to being educated that certain individuals were chipping away at the land.

Omar and his coworkers prevented the workers from continuing their work and then went to the Millennium City Police Station to report the problem. While at the Police headquarters, the acclaimed proprietor of the land, Benlord Ababio, showed up with 2 others accepted to be land monitors who defied the warriors during which they began terminating at the departed fighter who planned to leave a vehicle at the Police headquarters.

When they realized that L/Cpl. Danso had been struck by the shots, the police disarmed the shooter and arrested him. The casualty supported discharge wounds and was hurried to the Mother and Child Hospital at Kasoa for clinical consideration. Notwithstanding, he was subsequently articulated dead by the clinical specialists.
