KATH to suspend new admissions as doctors strike on Wednesday over accommodation challenges


Doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have declared plans to strike on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, because of convenience challenges.


The Ghana Medical Association has supported the strike, which will just effect new confirmations, as all doctors have consented to agree with the Association’s directive.

This implies that patients who might have been conceded for therapy or care at KATH might have to look for clinical consideration somewhere else or face defers in getting care.
