Jordan Ayew suffers hip injury in Tottenham game

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has revealed insight into the substitution of Jordan Ayew during Palace’s English Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Regardless of a bold exertion, Palace experienced a 3-1 loss at the Tottenham Arena, with Ayew being subbed after the 70th minute, prompting hypothesis about a possible injury. Prior in the match, partner Eberechi Eze was removed in the 65th moment as a safeguard because of a muscle injury. In a post-game meeting, Glasner made sense of that Ayew had supported a thump on his hip during the first half.

Glasner expressed, "He got a hit in the first half on his hip. He previously told us at halftime he had perhaps 10 or 15 minutes, yet I trust, and I believe it's not all that awful." Ayew's nonattendance from the last option phases of the match raised concerns, particularly taking into account his new form.

The Ghanaian striker had scored in consecutive games for Palace, with his goal against Everton procuring him a designation for the EPL goal of the Month Award for February.
