I’ve not made any financial gains from the NPP – Agya Koo

Veteran Ghanaian entertainer Agya Koo, otherwise called Kofi Adu, has disproved cases of benefiting monetarily from his help for the decision New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He accentuated that his sponsorship for the NPP is established in his veritable love for the party and confidence in its standards. In a meeting with Nana Yaa Brefo in Ejisu, Agya Koo excused charges that the NPP had offered monetary help to help him through the difficulties looked by the Kumawood film industry. He made it clear that the claims that his support for the NPP is linked to financial gain are false.

Tending to allegations of lobbying for the NPP exclusively for monetary reasons, Agya Koo provoked pundits to explore any indicated monetary exchanges. "Who even gave me money, and in which account was it paid?" he exclaimed. Check all the ledgers and see which of them were kept. Or did I carry the Jubilee House cash? Communicating his disappointment with the allegations, he brought up that couple of Kumawood entertainers went along with him in his NPP support exercises.

He explicitly referenced working with Matilda Asare and scrutinized the contribution of different entertainers like Mr. Afrani or pretty. Agya Koo's recent appearance in the Ejisu constituency to support NPP parliamentary candidate Kwabena Boateng in preparation for the April 30, 2024 by-elections demonstrates his ongoing support for the party's political efforts.
