Guinness World Records responds to Afua Asantewaa

Guinness World Records has responded to Afua Asantewaa, a Ghanaian event organizer who sought to set a new record for the longest sing-along marathon performed by an individual.

Guinness World Records has assured that the results will be released shortly, confirming that they are currently reviewing Afua's evidence.

The affirmation from Guinness World Records came after a TikTok client, cute_gyebuaxx, asked about the situation with Afua's singing long distance race endeavor in a remark on a TikTok post declaring a record holder.

"We’ve been reviewing Afua's evidence and will be letting her know the results soon," the World Record replied.

Afua Asantewaa effectively closed her Guinness World Record endeavor on December 29, 2023, having sung ceaselessly for a great 126 hours and 52 minutes.

This accomplishment outperformed the past record of 105 hours, held by Indian artist Sunil Waghmare beginning around 2012.

Following her long distance race singing accomplishment, Afua Asantewaa presented the proof of her presentation to Guinness World Records on January 6, 2024.

The attempt is currently being verified by the global authority on record-breaking accomplishments, and the official results will soon be made public.
