Egypt will be ready for Mo Kudus- Egypt Head Coach

Head coach of the Egyptian National Men’s Football Team, Rui Victoria, says he savors the opportunity for his group to play against the best players including Mohammed Kudus.

He also said in his press conference before the game that he would prepare his team for their match against the West Ham United midfielder on January 18 at 20:00 GMT, the second Group B match for both teams.

Egypt and Ghana head into the matchup under tension subsequent to battling in their initial games with Ghana losing 1-2 to Cape Verde and Egypt drawing 2-2 with Mozambique.

However, Kudus was unable to participate in Ghana's match against Cape Verde because of an injury Mohammed sustained just prior to the Black Stars' trip to Cote D'Ivoire for the 2023 AFCON.

"I believe it's great for the competition that the best players play every one of the games. As far as I might be concerned, it's reasonable. As far as I might be concerned, he's (Mohammed Kudus) a phenomenal player, he's doing great in the English Premier League. I'm prepared to face that kind of player; the team is prepared for that, too.

"We will have to control him, but not just him," since the Ghanaian team is very good and all of its players are good.

Kudus has six objectives in 16 EPL games in his most memorable season with West Ham and prepared with the Dark Stars on the ball.
