Despite media, Hitz FM has turned my fans against me – Shatta Wale


Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., better known as Shatta Wale, a reggae dancehall artist from Ghana, has publicly accused Osei Kwame Despite's Despite Media and Hitz FM, a subsidiaries of the Multimedia Group, of actively contributing to the negative sentiment that music fans have toward him.


Shatta Wale stated in an interview with Jay Forley and the 3 Music crew that Despite Media, which included Peace FM and UTV, worked with Hitz FM to influence a portion of the Ghanaian population into thinking that he was disrespectful and a bad person.


Shatta Wale expressed surprise at the disparity between the overwhelming support he receives from live audiences at his shows and the negative comments made about him on social media. The craftsman conveyed his profound association with fans going to his exhibitions however communicated disarray about the divergence in the web-based account.


Rumors that Shatta Wale's controversial behavior contributed to his current success have been fueled by his ongoing arguments with various media outlets and even fellow artists.
