Daughters of Glorious Jesus cancels its Glorious Praise event to be held in Kwahu


Eminent Ghanaian Gospel group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, has settled on the hard decision to drop its profoundly expected Glorious Praise event in Kwahu.


This choice comes right after the death of one of its cherished supporters. The late Kwabena Kwakye, who was a cousin to the group’s sisters Cynthia and Edna, unfortunately died in February of this current year.


His unexpected ailment at work prompted his unfavorable downfall, notwithstanding endeavors to rush him to the University of Ghana Medical Centre.

Kwabena Kwakye, a notable presenter on Oman FM, was a supporter of the music threesome as well as a valued relative to Cynthia Appiadu, the lead vocalist of the group.

Cynthia Appiadu, talking on TV3's New Day on March 20, communicated the significant effect of Kwabena Kwakye's passing on the gathering, portraying it as a "tremendous blow." "We have dropped Kwahu. The explanation is we are deprived, we lost our jewel in our family, Kwabena Kwakye. We were arranging this with him however something occurred thus, tragically we almost halted the program," Cynthia Appiadu shared.


Regardless of this difficulty, the gathering stays resolved to its fans and will continue with its Accra and Kumasi releases of the Radiant Applause occasion, booked for March 24 and April 14, respectively.
