Akufo-Addo selects Abronye DC for Tema Oil Refinery board membership

President Akufo-Addo has advanced Kwame Baffoe, otherwise called Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as a nominee for the Board of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Company Limited.

Notwithstanding Abronye DC, Leon Kendon Appenteng has been named for the place of board chairman, while Kofi Mocumbi Tagoe has been selected as the managing director of the company.

These selections were declared in a statement dated March 18, endorsed by Secretary to the President Nana Bediatuo Asante. This declaration follows the reconstitution of the Leading body of Tema Oil Refinery Company Limited.

"Sympathetically do whatever it takes to give quick impact on these assignments as per the Organizations Act, 2019 (Act 992) and the Guidelines of the Organization," the assertion read.

Others assigned for positions on the board incorporate Dr. Antoinette Tsiboe-Darko, Mrs. Edith Sapara-Award, Nana Also known as Bakoma Prempeh, Mrs. Lorraine Crabbe Ababio, Mr. Joseph Mensah Browne, Mr. Alfred George Thompson, Mr. Paul Kwaku Kyei Ofori, and Mr. Herbert Ato Morrison.
