Afrobeats singer MohBad dies at age 27


Afrobeats vocalist Mohbad has kicked the bucket at age 27.


In an explanation shared on the vocalist's Instagram page, it was affirmed that Mohbad - genuine name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba - passed on Tuesday 12 September.

The message noticed that the craftsman was 'at last settled', with the family requesting protection during this troublesome time.


The assertion read: 'It is with extraordinary bitterness that we affirm the death of Commitment Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the twelfth of September, 2023.

'Mohbad was light until the end, and as we grieve the deficiency of the splendor he conveyed, the family says thanks to you for your adoration and supplications, and requests that you proceed with deference their protection during this troublesome time. Imole is at long last settled.'


The cause of the Nigerian star's death is yet to be affirmed.

MohBad was known for his baritone and tracks including Inquire as to Myself, Pariwo and Harmony.


MohBad, brought into the world in June 1998, was previously endorsed to Naira Marley's Marlian Records until his take-off from the name in 2022.


He is made due by his better half Wunmi, with whom he shares a child.
