Abronye’s wife enters NPP contest for Ejisu parliamentary seat


Portia Acheampong, mate of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, otherwise called Abronye DC, has arisen as a competitor for the party's impending parliamentary essential in the Ejisu Voting demographic.


A mission banner highlighting her certifications, initially shared by Facebook client Kwesi Botchwey Jnr, has been reposted by Abronye DC on his page. The banner features Portia's lawful foundation as a Lawyer and Specialist at the High Court of Ghana, her underlying foundations in Ejisu, Ashanti District, and her familial connections to unmistakable figures locally.


The Ejisu parliamentary seat became empty following the death of the occupant MP, John Kumah, who likewise filled in as a representative priest for finance. Accordingly, the NPP has booked an essential for April 13, 2024, to select a contender for the looming by-political race. Selection for the challenge will be open from Tuesday, April 2 to Thursday, April 4, 2024, during which applicants can buy and document designations at the voting public party office.


Trying parliamentary up-and-comers are expected to pay a non-refundable recording expense of GHC35,000.00 in Brokers Draft to the New Energetic Party Public Base camp, Accra.
