2024 Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival slated for March 29

The Kwahu Paragliding Celebration, a famous global occasion attracting hordes of daredevils and sightseers, is preparing for its nineteenth release, promising one more remarkable experience.

Booked from Good Friday, March 29th to Easter Monday, April first, 2024, the celebration will unfurl from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm day to day in the midst of the shocking scenes of the Odweanoma Mountains in Atibie-Kwahu.

Coordinated under the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, as a team with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Ghana Tourist Development Company, and different nearby congregations and boards, the celebration was formally sent off on Spring fourth, 2024, at Kwahu, Abene.

Going before the occasion, authorities from the Ghana Tourism Authority will offer appreciation to the Kwahumanhene and Atibiehene in their separate Royal residences. Famous pair pilots from across the globe are set to fly travelers during the 4-day event, including pilots from the USA, Japan, Peru, Germany, and Ghana.

Started in April 2005, the celebration has turned into a fundamental piece of the Easter merriments in Kwahu, advancing both homegrown the travel industry and public solidarity.

For those anxious to take off, the rate for the paragliding celebration remains at 1,000 cedis (GH₵1000) per flight, offering an unrivaled involvement with the Ghanaian skies.
