14 rescued after Ghana Air Force helicopter crash-landed in Bonsokrom

A Ghana Air Force helicopter crash-landed in Bonsokrom, inside the Ahanta West District in the Western Region.

Onlookers detailed that the helicopter, which was supposedly conveying 14 people, including staff from the Petroleum sector regulators, arrived in a bush close to the Bonsokrom community.

In spite of the disturbing idea of the episode, all personnel and crew onboard the airplane are protected and have been safeguarded by Air Force personnel.

The accident site has been cordoned off from community by Air Force personnel.

Insights about the flight's starting point and objective stay hazy.

It is unsure whether the helicopter was in transit from seaward areas to Takoradi or was venturing out from Takoradi to Accra at the hour of the accident.
